EURO-TIDES Participates in OEE2025

EURO-TIDES returned to the spotlight at the Ocean Energy Europe annual conference, held on 4-5 November in Brussels.

During the tidal tech showcase session, Oliver Wragg from Orbital Marine Power shared an update on Orbital’s ongoing progress and its plans for the forthcoming large-scale tidal farm deployment. He also underlined the strength of the local supply chain and Europe’s continued leadership in tidal stream energy, showing that Europe is holding its own on the global stage.

A highlight of the participation was the joint project exhibition at OEE2025, which demonstrated how innovations from the MAXBlade and FORWARD-2030 projects are helping to push Orbital’s O2 turbine technology to the next level. These developments are improving performance, cutting costs, and paving the way for faster deployment of the future tidal energy farms, especially the EURO-TIDES tidal array project, a clear sign of how well European-funded projects can work together.
