EURO-TIDES Consortium Meets in Orkney for Project Review Meeting and O2 Site Visit

The EURO-TIDES project consortium convened in Orkney on 1 October for a highly productive project review meeting, marking another important step forward in our collective work. Partners and the Project Officer came together to assess progress made over the past 18 months, align on forthcoming activities, and prepare for the next major project milestone.

A highlight of the visit was a tour of Orbital Marine Power’s O2 turbine, currently operating in the Fall of Warness off the Orkney coast. The visit provided valuable first-hand insight into the cutting-edge technology and underscored the innovation being achieved through strong collaboration across the consortium.

This gathering has further strengthened the project’s momentum, and we look forward to building on this excellent cooperation as EURO-TIDES moves towards its next key objectives.
