EURO-TIDES participates in OEE2024

Since the launch of the project, EURO-TIDES made its first public appearance at the Ocean Energy Europe annual conference, held in November in Aviemore, Scotland.

During the tidal tech showcase session, Oliver Wragg of Orbital Marine Power Ltd presented the project’s journey so far and outlined plans for the upcoming large-scale tidal farm installation.

A highlight of the event was the display of an actual O2 turbine blade at the Tech Trail inside the conference exhibition hall – an impressive demonstration of the technology and a strong showcase of Scotland’s local manufacturing excellence.
